Akaa-Volley won VaLePa in the fifth semifinal by 3 - 1 (23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-20) and took the place in the finals by 3 - 2. It means Finland will get a new champion.
Akaa-Volley has two medals so far, the bronze two years back and the siver last year. The opposite in the finals (best of seven) is Hurrikaani Loimaa, which has got five silvers and three bronze medals from the previous seasons. Thus, it is clear that the both are ereally anxcious to take the championship in this spring.
The matches will be most interesting to be followed. The first one will take its place in Loimaa in the next Tuesday the ninth April.
The setter Ilja Ivanov and his colleague Lasse Jäntti will have an important role when Akaa-Volley is hunting its first Finnish championship.
