Akaa-Volley won the bronze medals

The season 2025-26 was a successful one for Akaa-Volley – once again. This was the fifth time in the row the team is among the three top ones in the Finnish league.

The original and clearly informed target was to get the golden ones but in this season, there were two better teams.

-          We’ll be becoming well prepared in the next season. The Finnish Championship is the only target and we are seriously hunting for it, says Niklas Seppänen, the captain of the team.

Most of the players will continue in the team.

-          We are going to be even better in the coming year. The most experienced players like Sakari Mäkinen, Niklas Seppänen and Antti Ropponen will coninue with us. And the youngsters will be more ready for the top league in Finland. We are sertainly fighting for the championship, confirms the coach Jani Niskakangas.
