Jani Niskakangas is the new head coach

Akaa-Volley's head coach Olli Kunnari is leading the men's national team in Golden League and in World Championships this year and in European Championships next year. Thus, he wanted to resign Akaa-Volley to have enough time for these challenges.

Luckily, Jani Niskakangas was interested to replace Kunnari. He was coaching TUTO Volley in the past season with great success - the team won bronze medals by leaving Kokkolan Tiikerit in the fourth position. Niskakangas has played for Akaa-Volley some fifteen years ago and thus, he knows the club and is happy to join the organization.

Welcome Jani!

The other coach - about 30 years in Akaa-Volley! - Hasse Mattila is leaving to Germany. He is coaching Barock Volleys MTV Ludwigsburg in the coming season. Akaa-Volley is looking for a new coach to replace Mattila. Hopefully, we can announce the name soon.
